How To Choose Mattress Firmness

Don't Know What Mattress Firmness to Get?

This is without a doubt the most often asked question. Other bed in a box mattress companies don't even give you the option because they think they know what's best for you. We know that is completly wrong and each side of the bed needs to fit that individual. So how do you choose? Our base foam mattress offers a medium firm feel for support but in order to fine tune the feel you'll need a topper so here's a guide that works 95% of the time - Side sleepers like the latex topper softer because the bed needs to have more give in the hips and shoulder area to prevent pressure points than it does if you are primarily a back or stomach sleeper. A good rule of thumb is if you weigh less than 200 lbs then the #19 topper should work best for you. This is also recommend for those suffering from Fibromyalgia who are sensitive to pressure points. 200-240 the #28 is the best choice. Over 240 lbs the #32 is recommended. For back and stomach sleepers the #19 is only recommended for those under 150 lbs. #28 for 150-200 lbs, #32 for 200-250 lbs and #36 for those over 250 lbs. Remember these are just guidelines so please don't hesitate to call us if you think you might need help in choosing.

If you are buying only the Sedona Sleep Base Mattress it offers an overall medium firm feel much like the Marriott hotel chain used for decades but most buy this mattress to use with a new latex or existing mattress topper.
